Optometry medical device integration
Medical device integration & LIMS software for eye clinics, specialty hospitals
Optometric instruments and optometry medical device integration. Optometry machine integration software for equipment such as Tonometer, refractometer & Lensmeter using our laboratory software. Ready to deploy healthcare device integration solutions. Support for NIDEK-310A, NIDEK-510A, NidekAR600, TOPCON KR-8900, HUVITZ HRK700, SHIN NIPPON Accuref-k900, NidekNT510, TOPCON-CT-80 , SHIN NIPPON NCT-200, TOPCON CL-200, Tomey-TL-2000, NIDEK RT5100, NIDEK ARK-1 TOPCON KR1 etc.
Our laboratory software and optometry management modules for optometry medical device integration, besides issuing bills, managing specimens, and scheduling tests, also establish two-way communication with various brands of auto analyzer machines (LIMS). The benefits of LIMS include reducing duplication of work, improving accuracy in results, reading the inventory of reagents and kits, tracking patient workflow, and measuring waiting time.
Benefits of LIMS optometry machine integration
- Reduced wait time for patients
- Improved accuracy of test results
- Prevent manual errors in sample collection
- Automatic inventory of reagents using optometry device integration
- Integrated with lab requisition and billing
- Helps in attaining NABL and other country-specific certifications
- Improved patient experience and safety with optometry machine integration
- Implementing Hospital CMMS software for preventive maintenance and repairs tracking.
The LIMS module has API calls to connect with your existing hospital inpatient EMR / outpatient EHR software solution and our team of experienced engineers would ensure full implementation in less than a week for eye hospitals and ophthalmology practice management solutions.
Optometry device integration supported
(ASTM protocol)
The communications protocol used on the VITROS 5,1 FS Chemistry System was created by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). It is designed specifically for medical devices and supports the transfer of an array of medical data. It enables speedy communication while using a number of data protection mechanisms, such as acknowledgments, timing mechanisms, and data recovery procedures. It also establishes a national standard for communication among medical facilities and may eventually become an international standard. The ASTM protocol promotes data integrity while handling a great volume of data for laboratory software.
Information about this protocol can be found in a publication produced by ASTM: Annual Book of ASTM Standards. Designation: E 1394-97: “Standard Specification for Transferring Information Between Clinical Laboratory Instruments and Computer Systems” and Designation: 1381-95: “Specification for Low-Level Protocol to Transfer Messages Between Clinical Laboratory Instruments and Computer Systems.” It is recommended that these publications be obtained and used as supplements to this guide.
